Biden Accused Of “Erasing Women” With Transgender Executive Order

Joe Biden has just signed an Executive Order that many fear will force schools to allow transgender athletes to compete in girls sports. The order, titled Preventing and Combating Discrimination on the Basis of Gender Identity or Sexual Orientation states that, “Children should be able to learn without worrying about whether they will be denied access to the restroom, the locker room, or school sports.” When signing the order Biden pointed to a Supreme Court ruling from 2020 that prohibits discrimination on the basis of someone’s gender identity.

Ironically, the order is discriminating against women. Journalist Abigail Shrier wrote on Twitter: “On day 1, Biden unilaterally eviscerates women’s sports. Any educational institution that receives federal funding must admit biologically-male athletes to women’s teams, women’s scholarships, etc. A new glass ceiling was just placed over girls.”
Erielle Davidson of The Jewish Institute for National Security of America, wrote: “Sad day for women’s sports. Women must compete against biological males at the risk of injury and loss of title, thanks to a new Biden executive order. Don’t ever tell me this is pro-woman. It’s not. It’s destructive and malicious.”
As I mentioned in a previous piece, The Trump administration had previously told schools not to allow trans students to participate in sports corresponding to their gender identity. Biden however is fully onboard with the pro-trans/anti-female agenda. He has just nominated Rachel Levine to be his Assistant Health Secretary. Levine is a trans woman who believes that people like him should be allowed access to female only spaces, because he identifies as a woman.
I’ve made my feelings pretty clear on this issue before. I support the right of anyone to live as they choose and to believe what they like, until that is, it imposes on others. It is outrageous and frankly dangerous, that males can declare themselves to be females, demand that they are legally recognised as such and therefore entitled to access female only spaces and compete in female sports. That isn’t hate speech. It’s common sense.
