Meet Hannah. Hannah is a member of a group called Just Stop Oil.
Hannah has been radicalised. In the past, I’ve said that I believe that young climate fanatics are suffering from a sort of religious mania.
I really do feel sorry for them. It isn’t their fault. They’ve been under attack for years now. It’s psychological warfare and they are the victims.
Hannah really believes that climate change is killing children in the global south and that if her generation doesn’t act in more and more extreme ways, we’re all going to die.
She says she’s scared. I believe her.
If you asked Hannah to explain how Co2 is warming the planet, it’s unlikely she’d have the answer. That’s not to suggest she’s stupid but when they are challenged they tend to revert to sloganeering.
Ask Hannah how much Co2 is in the atmosphere today and she probably couldn’t tell you.
In fact, Co2 makes up just 0.04 per cent of the atmosphere. Nobody, not Bill Gates, not even Greta Thunberg can tell you how much of that 0.04 per cent is man made.
Sure, they’ll throw metric tonnage figures at you. They’ll say we kicked out so many millions of metric tonnes of Co2 last year, but they haven’t a scooby-doo as to what percentage that is, of the Co2 in the heavens.
It’s a massive hoax, but it has terrorised and radicalised an entire generation.
Young women like Hannah are building the walls of their own prison, but they can’t see it.
Just Stop Oil activist Hannah has locked herself to the pipes in the Navigator oil terminal in Essex.
