Richie suggested I share this so I shall. This is another short film I directed, this time a surreal comedy about how a bad day can always get stranger. Please feel free to have a watch if you like. I hope you enjoy it and let me know your thoughts. We’re going in to shoot another short in two weeks time before starting pre-production on our first feature!

it was alright. was going to start by saying the writing was on the wall in the first clip, but thought no give it a chance. a touch of the acid house short films from welshes book ? that were made into short films. decent acting and great sound to be fair. the doctor being full of shite sat well with me, or should that be shat well with me. hayden not sure if you read the comments, but one of my favourite films is called ” a room for romeo brass ” by shane meadows it was made on a shoestring budget, he had paddy considine in it to be fair, but he was not that well known, it is a classic that nobody i have known or met has seen it, sometimes i used to think i dreamt the fucking thing up in my head. point being mate, you don’t need millions to make good art or film. good luck going forward with it.

Truly brilliant old school film work! I love the reveal, how the office is shared. Spooky boss lady at the window…a bit of a jump scare. The pen was so scary! We all know that moment of ‘Uh-oh…did that just happen? Is something really wrong?’, and then the shock and uncertainty that follows. I loved boss lady, Linda, in his face, then talking about wax removal at her hairdressers. Every performance is strong. The music is perfect, weaving the tale well. The whole thing is disturbing as hell, yet with substance–I haven’t seen a short like this in ages. It captures an era. Thank you and Bravo! All good luck on your feature!

Watched it twice now and on the second pass, I couldn’t help but think about the predictament our globalist friends have put us through for the last two years and wouldn’t it be fantastic if it could all be “purged” down the toilet bowl in a similar fashion.
The voices in the head and afterlife elements are also a tad spooky.
I will need time to recover from this Hayden!
Oh and while I think of it… Elbows is an anagram for Bowels!!
