Whether you’re a brain surgeon, cardiologist, physiotherapist, cleaner, ward sister or emergency room doctor, you should walk out of your job today, in solidarity with your colleagues who have declined the offer of a covid-19 jab.
The government will confirm this afternoon, that covid jabs will be mandated for NHS workers. However, ministers are expected to impose a Spring deadline for workers to receive two doses.
What a farce. In essence, the government is saying that unjabbed health workers are endangering patients, but that it won’t be a problem this Winter. The government is saying to refuseniks, “Please help us cope with a very busy Winter period and in return for your efforts, we’ll fire you in the Spring when things aren’t so bad.”
Historically, there’s only been one way to deal with tyrants and bullies. Stand up to them. This is tyranny. Is there a better word for it? I’m boring myself by repeatedly typing and saying it. I am horrified by what is happening and feel increasingly powerless to do anything about it.
The jabs don’t work. They do not prevent infection or transmission. The unjabbed present no threat whatsoever to anyone else. This is a fact. They’ve admitted it. Renowned cardiologist Aseem Malhotra told LBC Radio last weekend that he is livid because he took up the offer of the jabs to protect his patients.
He felt that he didn’t personally need the protection. He did it for others. Now he knows that he was lied to. He’s horrified too.
If every NHS worker walked out today and told that wretched fucking bankster Sajid Javid and his goon of a boss, that they will not return until the mandate is scrapped, it would be over in a matter of minutes. They should demand that the mandate is dropped for social care workers too. Solidarity works. The deadline for care-workers is this Thursday. God help them.
They should leave a doctor and a nurse in every ICU unit, but everyone else should walk. The workers united, will never be defeated.
