File under “you just couldn’t make it up.” A Washington DC based Fox News anchor has been suspended after tweeting that obese folks were getting their Covid shots before him. Describing himself as “an essential worker” Blake McCoy said:
“I’m annoyed obese people of all ages get priority vaccine access before all essential workers. When most stayed home, we went into work everyday last March, April, May and everyday since, putting ourselves and loved ones at risk. Vaccinate all essential workers, then obese.”
He apologised and deleted the tweet, but Fox 5 suspended him anyway pending further review. How times have changed. Fox News knew that Bill O’Reilly was harassing women, yet they put him on-air every evening, to defame and smear whoever was on Rupert Murdoch’s shit list that week.
Sean Hannity is another. Incredibly, he’s still at Fox today. Hannity hosted O’Reilly, after Billo had left Fox in disgrace and even supported Roger Ailes when it was common knowledge that Ailes was abusing women. In a 2019 show, he called for former US President Donald Trump to “bomb the hell out of Iran.” The idiot once admitted on air, that he doesn’t fact check anything he says. Scumbags don’t come any bigger than Sean Hannity, but Fox doesn’t care.
But say that you should be jabbed before fatty and you’re out on your ear. You’ve gotta love Fox News priorities.
