German Health Minister Jens Spahn has told reporters that the country is experiencing a “pandemic of the unvaccinated.” Spahn said the tougher measures are needed to slow down the surge in covid-19 infections.
Speaking to reporters he said:
“We are currently experiencing mainly a pandemic of the unvaccinated and it is massive. In some regions in Germany intensive care beds are running out again.”
66 percent of Germany’s population is double jabbed, but uptake has waned recently, particularly in the 18-59 age group.
In response, Spahn called for tougher checks at establishments where entry is limited to those who can show they have been jabbed, have recovered from Covid or recently tested negative.
Spahn believes that in the hardest hit areas of Germany, access should be limited to those who are fully vaccinated or can show proof of recovery. He said:
“It’s nothing to do with vaccine bullying. It’s about avoiding an overloading of the health care system.”
The UK government and its scientific advisors have been pushing their booster jab programme hard of late. Fear is their most potent weapon. They’re claiming that ICU beds are filling up with the unjabbed. No proof is offered. Journalists don’t ask for any.
The logical next step is to green light vaccine passports. It’ll happen here. It’ll happen soon.
