According to The Telegraph, the NHS will begin firing unvaccinated staff in two weeks. All patient facing staff are required to be fully jabbed by April 1st. This means that February 3rd is the deadline for unvaccinated staff to have their first dose.
More than 80,000 NHS workers in frontline roles have yet to have a single jab. As The Telegraph reports today:
Last week, the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) and the Royal College of Midwives (RCM) urged ministers to delay the rules, saying they could have a “catastrophic” impact on the delivery of services.
NHS guidance to employers says all frontline staff who have not been vaccinated should start being called into formal meetings from Feb 4 and warned that they face dismissal. Dismissal notices will start being issued from that day, with the notice period ending on March 31.
Roles covered by the rules include porters, receptionists and ward clerks as well as doctors and nurses.
The UK government has produced its own report on how the NHS could be affected by sacking the un-jabbed. It believes that as many as 73,000 staff may be lost to the mandate.
At the moment, there are 100,000 vacancies in the health service and a shortfall of 40,000 nurses.
Unions are useless. Speaking on The Richie Allen Show last night, Mike, an unvaccinated paramedic, told me that when he asked his union rep for support, he was told to go and have the jabs.
The Labour Party, which claims to be the party for workers, is fully behind the mandate too.
It’s tyranny, but then what else is new?
