Surge testing for the Kent coronavirus variant is to begin in South Manchester today. More than 10,000 tests will be delivered after cases of the E484K (Kent) mutation were found in two unconnected households. Tests will take place in Fallowfield, Hulme, Moss Side and Whalley Range. Volunteers will go house to house offering tests.
Manchester City Council said that everyone in the designated areas would be given a PCR swab test with results coming back within days. Some tests are shoved through letterboxes, with instructions for residents on how to test themselves, with volunteers returning later to collect them. Others will be invited to attend a testing centre. Testing begins today and is targeting people who do not have symptoms but live or work within the testing boundary area.
David Regan, Director of Public Health, Manchester City Council, said:
“There is no evidence that this variant will be resistant to the vaccines or causes a more severe illness, and it is not yet known if the strain can be passed more easily between people, but it is really important that everyone who lives in the boundary area and is over the age of 16 plays their part and gets a test.”
So let me get this straight. More than ten thousand tests have been rushed to Manchester, hundreds of volunteers have been deployed and the media is urging residents to play their part and get tested. All this because a virus mutation was found in two unconnected households? Seriously?
This has nothing to do with with finding viral mutations and everything to do with the biggest PsyOp ever perpetrated against the British people. It’s about using fear to acclimatise you and me to a new reality, where we can expect to be tested regularly for new and previously unknown diseases, even though we feel absolutely fine. A reality where we can expect to be offered vaccines and booster vaccines and boosters for the booster vaccines, several times a year.
Government ministers are admitting as much on the media this morning. They’re claiming that there are now more than 4,000 Covid-19 variants circling the globe. But we shouldn’t worry they say, because mRNA technology means that they can slightly tweak the existing vaccine, to adjust it to work on any variant. Welcome to the world of testing and jabbing. Surge testing communities for new variants, quickly followed by a new vaccine roll-out is going to be all the rage.
