The UK Is A Fascistic Police State Run By Thugs

Police have had to apologise to YouTuber “Canking”, after 20 officers descended on his flat, when they were falsely tipped off that he was having a party. Canking, whose real name is Jayden Gray, livestreamed the incident on his phone. The only other occupants of the apartment were his girlfriend and his roommate. West Midlands police said that they had been advised that a party was underway and apologised if the tenant believed their response was “excessive.” Before leaving, the officers actually fined his girlfriend for being there. She should of course, take it to court.

Twenty tooled up coppers, responding to an anonymous tip that a man was hosting a few friends in his flat is not just excessive, it’s terrifying. The UK is undoubtedly now a police state. In the last ten months, coppers have taken to issuing summonses to people for buying non-essential items, for being outside without a “reasonable excuse” and for having too many people in their homes! Police in Wales set up roadblocks to intercept people driving to beauty spots, fine them and turn them back. In Bridgend last week, a man and his wife were fined £60 for visiting her mother in a care home! Two Derbyshire women were fined (later rescinded) £200 for walking near a reservoir. Police are even patrolling the nations parks to fine people who are sitting on benches. That’s not allowed, even if you are alone!

At a shopping centre in Birmingham just before Christmas, officers violently assaulted a man who hadn’t a mask on. The bloke said that he was exempt, and reminded the officers of his rights, but they threw him to the floor, piled on top of him, cuffed him and led him away. And here’s the kicker, most of this so-called “guidance” is not law anyway! Matthew Paul, a barrister from Civitas Law, told The New Statesman that; “The rule of law is being seriously undermined by Covid-19 regulations. Guidance is not law; in most cases an individual is entitled to ignore it. But police officers are enforcing guidance as if it were law, and have turned to enforcing what they consider to be the purpose, rather than the letter of the regulations.”

To make matters worse, the police are demanding more powers to fine and detain those deemed to be in breach of the guidelines. They also want the public to engage in more snooping and snitching on their neighbours, as Met Police Commissioner Cressida Dick told LBC radio this week. If we’ve learned one lesson from history it’s this; don’t ever believe governments when they ask you to lend them your liberty, because they never ever give it back.
