There’s never been a bigger shill than LBC’s James O’Brien. Never. During yet another tedious, laborious, long-winded, choose your own adjective monologue this morning, O’Brien strolled down a familiar path for him.
The London School of Economics graduate (he’s not a journalist) took again, to lamenting that people just won’t see things as he sees them. Oh why, oh why do people continue to “embrace untruth” as O’Brien puts it here.
James cannot understand why people continue to “believe the things that are not true.” He called it “disturbing” and also “dangerous.” Hold onto that thought, that your beliefs are in fact dangerous. Do read the article that preceded this one.
O’Brien says that unbelievers are “frightened by chaos” and seduced into falling for “simple solutions to complex problems.” He’s nothing if not a plagiarist. His predecessors have been levelling that accusation at so-called conspiracy theorists for years. Try again James.
He claims that people don’t want to believe that the virus is as dangerous as it is, because “existence is fragile.” How utterly droll.
The government’s own statistics clearly demonstrate that covid-19 is relatively harmless to the vast majority of those who contract it. Both Oxford and Cambridge Universities have repeatedly stated that case and death numbers are just a tad problematic.
Far too many people had covid listed on the death certificate when they clearly died of something else. Look it up. Unlike O’Brien, I never make a claim that I cannot substantiate with evidence.
The vaccines of which he is so enamoured are killing people, here in the UK, the US and everywhere else. O’Brien needs only to look at the data. Shall we email the VAERS and Yellow Card data to him? On second thoughts, don’t It’ll make no difference. On to masks then.
Speaking of Cambridge University, one of its academics, Dr. Raghib Ali, told SKY last week that there’s no good evidence that masks halt the spread of covid.
Yet there are plenty of peer reviewed studies which claim that wearing the damned things is in fact unhealthy. O’Brien has producers and editors working with him. He knows this stuff. His job however, is to ensure that his listeners never hear of it. He’s a gatekeeper.
There isn’t a shred of evidence that Co2 is warming the planet. Co2 accounts for 0.04 per cent of the Earth’s atmosphere. Humans are responsible for anywhere between 10 percent to 30 per cent of that, depending on who you believe. Mankind is not responsible for climate change. There is no climate catastrophe. Again, O’Brien knows this too.
There has never been a greater shill on UK radio than James O’Brien. How does his kind sleep at night? I hope for his sake, that selling out humanity isn’t cheap.
