Offspring Drummer Dropped By Band For Refusing The Jab

The drummer for the US band “The Offspring” has claimed that he has been kicked out of the band for refusing a covid jab on medical grounds. Pete Parada said his doctor advised him against taking the jab because he has a rare autoimmune disorder.

The band had a massive hit with the song “Pretty Fly For A White Guy” in 1998. According to the BBC news website:

He (Parada) wrote on Instagram that he’s “unable to comply with what is increasingly becoming an industry mandate”. As a result, “it has recently been decided that I am unsafe to be around, in the studio and on tour”, he said.

The band, who are due to start a US tour on 8 August, have not responded to his comments. Parada joined the group in 2007 and it is not clear whether he has now left permanently.

Parada has had Guillain-Barré syndrome since childhood. The condition causes the body’s immune system to attack and damage nerves. Parada says that it has worsened over the years. He said that for him, the risks of getting jabbed outweigh the benefits.

He added that he had “no negative feelings towards my band” and that, “they’re doing what they believe is best for them, while I am doing the same, but people should be free to make a choice about the vaccine unburdened by coercion.”

If Parada’s story is true, he can clearly demonstrate that he was wrongfully dismissed from the band and also discriminated against based on his medical condition.

Remember the old days when rock stars would challenge the establishment through their music? Those days seem a long way away now.

Imagine this happened in the 60s, we’d see the likes of Jimi Hendrix appealing to the BAME community to get the injectible, Janis Joplin telling everyone to mask up and Jim Morrison announcing he refuses to have any unjabbed in his house.

Fiery Jack

Give it to me baby uh huh uh huh

Kelly Maher

Bloody hell. It’s embarrassing how all these 90s bands who claimed to be against the system are the biggest statists / conformists. Useful idiots and traitors.

Dave

I’ve struggle to listen to some music these days because there’s too much happening in this world at the moment and I’m educating myself for the future of my family. But bands like the offspring, foo fighters and any others going along with this can just get tae f**k. They’re all a bunch of pussies and puppets just wanting to be “famous” for their own selfish needs. What happened to punk and anarchy?!

I’m supposed to go to festivals that are on hold because of all this but I don’t think I can see myself going to any again if it means coercing with the tyranny that’s happening. Goodbye to the fake world the red pill has fully digested and no going back

This is such a shame. The kids aren’t alright 🙁

martin

i love Nirvana, if Cobain was writing teen spirit today he would probably call it ” smells like cat piss ” Dave grohl was the drummer in Nirvana, one creepy bastard in my opinion, anyway he went on to great success with his band foo fighters, Cobain went to the grave. Never heard of this band or the drummer, one door shuts and all that, hope it works out for the guy.

“Just get the f***ing jab, it’s not for you it’s to protect the vulnerable who can’t have the jab……as long as the vulnerable don’t expect to come out of their houses and have lives”

Pathetic, low testosterone behaviour

Gerald

The music industry in general has been pathetic. The likes of Bruce Springsteen, Jagger and Billy Bragg in the mainstream but also most so-called anti-establishment acts. I’ve managed to find and interview some protesting voices from the Black Metal fraternity. Here is one such legend (published today):

Jacob

Agreed upon.

“Anarchy for the UK… it’s coming sometime.. maybeee…”. Oh..oh…yes of course I’ll have a jab if you tell me to have a jab…. Um where was I … “No future, no future… no future for you and England’s Dreaming!!!”

Backbeat

Isn’t Clapton looking for a drummer?

wretchedcoder

John Waters months ago decried the lack of “speaking Truth” by the art/music world. He excepted Van Morrison, who has put out some wonderful music on the topic (“As I Walked Out”, “Born To Be Free”, and “No More Lockdowns”). Waters is brilliant and right: the music and art world are useless and have lost their way of speaking Truth to Power. Kind of like journalism…

RATManiac247

I have been so disappointed in most of the musicians I held in high regard. Didn’t Dave Grohl/Foo Fighters do gigs to only vaccinated fans. You’ll get nothing from me now Dave, not the steam off my piss!

Brenda

Seen twice at Tennents Vital, Belfast.
Can do without in future. We won’t be allowed access to major festivals and gigs anymore….just have accepted it.

martin

Could do without grohl no problem. A creep always was and will be a total shill.

Dave

Total shill c*** haha

PandoraChaser

They had to cancel that concert, as one of the Foo fighters got sick after his double jabs and caught a bad dose of Covid! LOL. Outrageous any of the pro-vaxx vaxxhole shill celebrities though, pushing medical apartheid without even realising how nazi they are being! Either that or they are all in on the agenda!

Jacob

Hahaha

Kevin

They are all virtue signaling. Look at me! I’m taking the jab and being an asshole about it to those who refuse. Notice the political persuasion of most of these people and then tell me it’s not a leftist push. I am not involved in politics but I live a conservative life. This has become a new political religion. We are right back in the 1940s with the nazi fear mongering to hype the war. Then they did it again with the cold war fear so citizens wouldn’t oppose the taxes being spent on the military and nukes. I’ve chosen my side and it is on neither political side.

Jacob

There is no left or right in reality as both are controlled by the same people is how I see it.

Jennie

I think in reality a lot of these rock stars weren’t really rebels. Look how many British ones have accepted titles.

Backbeat

An argument is now emerging that a great deal of the entire 60’s counter culture was at the very least controlled and closely monitored by the security services. This shamdemic has served to do little but shatter my illusions; but it has also showed me that ‘hero status’ is something we ‘project’ onto someone who’s work or public persona we gravitate toward -nothing more. We should ALL be the star of our own movie with descending too deeply into that dark triad.

Jennie

Maybe some of it was but I do think there was a grassroots movement too as I knew people who were involved in it in different ways who were 100 per cent genuine. But I think you’re right that with a lot of our heroes it was just an illusion, an image.

Backbeat

This period in history is a little like the Wizard of OZ in reverse; someone has nicked our red shoes and we can’t return to the dream.

Jennie

Sad but true.

Pennywise

The Offspring was a punk rock band. An MTV Punk band of course but still…
I saw a Punk Rock gig from California filmed last August and all the punks in attendance were wearing masks..

WTF happened to Punk music?

These are the people singing about freedom, rights and revolution and at the same time they all seem to be complying with every stupid rule the government throws their way. It’s rather pathetic. I thought the scene was still very much alive in the UK, but I’ve now realised that even here Punk is pretty much dead.

Backbeat

Don’t you mean the Punkees 🙂 ???

Jacob

😀

Pennywise

This is why I don’t do Sunday Morning Melodies Richie. You coming up with bands like that. 🤣
I saw The Varukers and Anti-Nowhere League play in Bristol the other day. My first gig since last February.
I kept thinking it could possibly be my last..

Jacob

Where are all the real men?
Listened to a bit of Killing Joke during last week.

I see that Jennifer Anniston has revealed she has dropped her unjabbed friends, what a control freak weird thing she is

Jennie

She’s right when she says that many people don’t listen to the facts and one of them is Jennifer Aniston.

Backbeat

Her feelings don’t care about facts.

Jacob

Always been a strange one. Her waffling on the red carpet and interviews were complete nonsense.
And Friends was bollocks, sorry!

Jennie

So agree could never stand Friends, Frasier wiped the floor with it.

Backbeat

Jacob, I always suspected you to be a renaissance man; this has now been confirmed 😉

Jacob

You have worked me out 😉
Never could get into the clothes though.

Backbeat

They’ll NEVER find a codpiece worthy of you mate 🙂

Jacob

Never find two as I would double up just for added extra protection. Covid can and will be caught and transmitted by non vaccinated Codpieces according to latest unseen data. 🙂

Backbeat

Nice one 🙂

Anwen Appleby

She????? Honeypie, that’s Maniston

Noel cox

Always knew he was a w⚓

Backbeat

Not very good at handling the women in his life. His music was always pretty good; but the man was always a P£$$$eeeeee.

Anwen Appleby

A certain Ms Heather Mills certainly feared him, after she left him.

Jennie

Such a shame used to love the Beatles.

sjp002

I still do. I know Ringo is pro mask/lockdowns, I wonder what the more rebellious Beatles would have thought, both no longer with us of course 🙁

Backbeat

The great music they created hasn’t changed, merely your view of them; and that is ok.

Anwen Appleby

i thought the Tavistock people created the music.

Backbeat

From what I’ve learned this is ‘multi headed hydra’. I’m sure that it wasn’t just the US security services, after all a good portion of that music came from the UK; Stones, Kinks, Who, Beatles etc. It breaks my heart to think that any of that great music could have been contrived.

Anwen Appleby

I agree. But think what a major Psych-op those catchy tunes are. “I’d rather see you dead little girl, than see you with another man”. Sung by John Lennon who was famous for smashing his fist into his girlfriend Cynthia, at Art School, rather more times than has been reported. The lyrics can be very beautiful too – that’s what makes this so heartbreaking.

Backbeat

Funny you should say that, an ex girlfriend actually played Cynthia Lennon the movie ‘Birth of the Beatles’. I’ve read a lot about people like Lennon being a bit of an arse hat. As much as I love Miles Davis; he was known for using his wives and band members as a punching bag as well.

Anwen Appleby

I read Cynthia Lennon’s book “A twist of Lennon” and enjoyed it. She ended up running a shop in Ruthin, and living without access to any funds from Lennon – but- if my theory is correct, Lennon was replaced many times. It must have been fun to play Cynthia Lennon in a film. One of the many interesting things about her, was that she had to put up with the infamous “Aunt Mimi” – who was clearly Lennon’s “handler” from a young age, and somewhat fierce.

Jacob

Include the Doors in that list.

Backbeat

Basically half of Laurel Canyon. I still love the music though.

Jacob

That is what some say.
The shooting of Lennon is still a mystery. Did he go of script?

Anwen Appleby

I think he did. But also, I remember hearing a Yoko Ono interview where SHE went “off script”, because she said, “The previous John Lennon said…. and then THIS John Lennon said… but then the next John Lennon etc”….
So how many actors really did play John Lennon?

Jacob

I must have missed that one.

RATManiac247

What, Billy?

Anwen Appleby

Yup. Beatle Bill.

Backbeat

Oh no…say it ain’t so. From the man who supposedly embraces a more healthy vegan lifestyle along with his late wife.

Anwen Appleby

The man who made us all listen to “Mull of Kintyre” until we lost the will to live, cos it was Number One in the charts for months and months. Those bagpipes blighted the teens of an entire generation.

Ronald Templeman

Picked up an interesting interview, a chap in Alberta Canada got a fine for demonstrating, to cut a long story short he went to court and represented himself. His defence was that he needed the chief medical office for Alberta to prove that the covid virus had been isolated, for them to use the said laws against him. After all sorts of situations it was admitted that they could not prove it and as I understand it he won his case. Could this be a very simple way to go, as to have laws relating to a virus they have to be able to prove conclusively that the virus exists.

He Won and now it can be used as a template in commonwealth-countries.

“Court battle in Alberta ends the entire Covid lockdowns, masks, etc.
https://rumble.com/vkorz0-freedom-fighter-court-victory-ends-masking-shots-quarantine-in-alberta.html
What this man did is now a blueprint for the rest of the world. Gets the Health Minister to admit that they don’t have proof of an isolated virus, and now the government caves in and ends everything. Oh and not because of this court victory.”
