Last week, a court ordered Infowars owner Alex Jones to pay nearly $1 billion dollars in compensation to families who lost children in the Sandy Hook shooting.
In the wake of the shooting, Jones and his contributors claimed that it was all a hoax and denounced the families of the dead children as actors.
Jones is expected to file for bankruptcy.
This morning, Robbie Parker, whose daughter Emily was murdered in the attack, spoke to ITV’s Good Morning Britain. He said that stories accusing him of being a crisis actor began appearing online immediately after the shooting.
He told Richard Madeley that conspiracy theorists are evil and opportunistic.
'To have someone take your grief and pain and exploit if for their own purposes… there are no words that can describe the type of evil that that is'
