Olympic Swimmer and women’s rights advocate Sharron Davies has slammed Nike for using a man to promote women’s swimwear.
The sportswear giant sparked fury after starting a partnership with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney – who posed for a series of pictures in leggings and a sports bra.
Mulvaney, 26, posted videos and photos on his Instagram page last Tuesday, tagging Nike Women while linking to the products’ pages.
Sharron Davies told Talk TV host Julia Hartley Brewer that Nike’s partnership with Mulvaney is an “insulting parody” and leading to the “erasing of women.”

Julia: “It’s mocking women, it is not a celebration of women!”
