As of this morning, The Richie Allen Show is once again streaming on http://www.tunein.com.
A few weeks ago, a UK court order forced Tunein to delete hundreds (if not thousands) of radio shows and stations that didn’t possess the appropriate music licenses.
The Richie Allen Show was one of them. Listeners took to social media to criticise the company and accuse it of wholesale censorship. Someone working for the company replied (a little clumsily perhaps) that the show had been removed due to a complaint.
As I’ve explained, that wasn’t the case. Tunein reached out to me to explain what had happened and how to remedy it. Thanks in particular to Rob and Michelle for their help. They’ve been very professional and courteous from day one.
I’m delighted to be streaming on Tunein. I’ve been with the company since the show launched in late 2014. It’s a great service and the app is outstanding.
Can you do me a favour? If you left Tunein a negative review in the past couple of weeks, could you please delete it, or amend it? The company hasn’t censored The Richie Allen Show, therefore it shouldn’t receive a negative rating for something it hasn’t done.

I recommend downloading the app. I use it often. It’s a great service.
