Dave Chappelle On Trans Row: “I’m Not Bending To Anyone!”

Good man Dave Chappelle. The comedian is taking the fight straight to the cancel culture mob. Chapelle’s latest Netflix special was criticised by some trans rights groups. During the performance, Chappelle said that “gender is a fact” and that LGBT people are “too sensitive.”

The snowflakes screams were heard around the world. Well, heard on Twitter mostly. Some Netflix employees staged a walk-out in a show of solidarity with their trans and LBGT chums. Netflix should have summarily sacked every one of them. I would have and I’m a died in the wool trade-unionist. But fuck ’em. They need to be taught a lesson. Free speech matters.

Chappelle dropped a video on his Instagram account last night. It was a clip from his Sunday night stand-up performance in Kentucky. According to the BBC:

He appeared at the show alongside popular podcaster Joe Rogan.

“It’s been said in the press that I was invited to speak to transgender employees at Netflix and I refused,” Chappelle, 48, told the audience.

“That is not true. If they had invited me I would have accepted it. Although I am confused about what we are speaking about… You said you want a safe working environment at Netflix. Well it seems like I’m the only one that can’t go to the office anymore.”

“To the transgender community, I am more than willing to give you an audience,” he continued. “But you will not summon me. I am not bending to anybody’s demands.”

He also denied that he was in conflict with the LGBT community, saying “this has nothing to do with them. It’s about corporate interests and what I can say and what I cannot say.”

Attaboy Dave. Bend to no-one. I believe that biological sex matters too. Biological sex is real. Nobody is born in the wrong body. It’s pseudo-scientific claptrap.

There is no such thing as a Shemale or a trans-man or trans-woman. But gender dysphoria and body dysmorphia are very real.

Worryingly, but unsurprisingly, Netflix executives are back-pedalling furiously. Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos has only gone and apologised for how he handled internal dissent from employees, saying: “I screwed up.”

He screwed up by not firing them. Grow a pair Ted, no pun intended.

Like any successful entertainer, Dave Chappelle has eaten more than his fair share if shite. As he now has ‘F£$k you money’ he can afford to stand by his principles. Let’s face it, after walking away from an all alleged $50 million and facing up to the snarky anorexic warthog aka Oprah; being labelled as crazy after taking a sabbatical in Africa, moving to rural Ohio and blanking the MSM for a time. He’s earned the right to stand his ground. This man is on my comedy Mount Rushmore; and he’s in stellar company.

having seen “the closer” I am not sure what dave chappelle has done so wrong that some people are screaming for him to be banned, a joke is a joke, if you can only laugh at certain comedy then the world is gone, for people that get offended, turn the device off or over and watch something else. There are things for example on TV that I do not like, do I get offended and want things to be banned? nope, I accept people like different things and move on with my life.

Richie would you consider having Kellie-Jay Keen (Posie Parker) on your show as she has been speaking out regarding the gender issues and men in dresses demanding they are known as females.

Lucy56

What has happened to people? When did they lose their ability to think and reason? Thankfully there are men like Dave Chappelle around who do speak out. I just wish more would grow a back bone and speak out.

fair play to dave for sticking to his guns

Brave New World Full movie – Bing video

The 1980 film of Huxley’s book above, is a bit of a slog. But after having watched recently i can say, that it was well worth the effort. Brave New World when read or watched in context with current events is striking. Including what science is currently cooking up, regarding growing us in labs. Also the emphasis on taking love out of our lives and the deleting of anything artistic or spiritual. Reducing us to nothing more than biological entities. There could well be a connection between the erotic play lessons in the story, and the emphasis on sex lessons at an increasingly young age in present times.

In Huxley’s work, humans are produced with a pre determined use in mind. And are there to serve the system. Sadly there seems to be an abundence of ” Epsilon Morons “, in real-life. If the gullibility of the masses is anything to go by. Babies are given repeated instructions regarding there functions whilst they sleep. This is particularly interesting, as official science is still refusing to admit that we hear everything whilst asleep or in an unconscious state. Even though it was proved without doubt, in the years following the book. That we hear and record in the hidden part of our minds everything in our surroundings, even pre birth.

In Brave New world, like other works of fiction, such as Equilibrium and Equals. There is very much a culture of chemical dependency. And an expectation that these drugs must be taken. The only difference between this and the poison jabs. Is that in these works, the drugs are to destroy emotion and keep everyone docile. I’m left wondering if this is coming next. As specially as the Nazis believed that adding large amounts of Fluoride to drinking water, could possibly make people more docile and compliant.

It would be great if others watched the film, as i would love to hear others comments.

Never seen the film but I have read the book several times, as fiction when I was younger but as non-fiction in more recent years. Aldous Huxley has been a hero of mine since I was young. It’s interesting that shortly after he wrote the book he left England never to return and like George Orwell he turned his back on his upbringing.

In a way what is likely coming will be even worse than Brave New World because at least dissenters had the savage reservation to excape to where they were more or less left alone. We won’t even have that.

Urban Fox

I think your right. Read the book many years ago and have a copy. Read 1984 obviously, need to get a copy. Haven’t been able to face reading either of them again as to depressing. May have a go at BNW in the near future. That’s BNW, not to be confused with BLT( Bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich.)

Lucy56

Jennie, you may be right that we may not have anywhere to escape to. The powers that be will always need a scapegoat and they have, the great unwashed the unjabbed.

Lucy56

Totally agree Mr Fox, spot on in my opinion.

Urban Fox

Thanks Lucy, always good to know some one does. Or i would just think i was totally bonkers.

Peter Cormack

Disappointed that K Burleigh didn’t remember that The Jabbed can still infect as much as the Unjabbed, especially when considering Frontline workers faced with the sack. As for Sajid Jaffacake, gone over to The Darkside is he so no hope there.

Craig

I’ve been a manager. I wouldn’t have sacked those employees, but I would have told them that they are free to hand in their resignation any time they chose.

As for Ted Sarandos’ apology: it is nothing more than a PR stunt, likely controlled by far more powerful entities playing a longer game.
We already know that the Agenda is pushing the idea of employees being stakeholders (staff having a say in how the company operates). Its ironic that that was one of the ideas of Italian Fascism.
It’s also nothing more, on one level, than a marketing ploy. A grand hypnosis. By the time people figure that out, it will likely be far too late.

Backbeat

From what I can gather from Dave Chappelle’s interviews; he appeared to have ‘found a home’ at Netflix. I feel that he must secretly be thinking WTF are they doing?

Craig

Chappelle brings in the money. That’s his only use to them.

Backbeat

He’s confirmed as much; in his own inimitable way. I’ve all the time in the world for his comedy and world view. IMHO he’s the GOAT with the passing of Pryor and Carling, not to mention the early retirement of the great Billy Connolly due to his condition.
